The perfect FICO Credit Score, we have it!

The published credit score range for the FICO scoring model is 300 to 850. The reality is that the range really isn’t 300 to 850. The actual range is somewhere in-between. The true range of the score depends on many variables such as, the FICO Product; yes there are more than one like the FICO Mortgage Score, FICO Expansion Score, FICO Auto and more. Then the generation of FICO score being used to score your credit reports will make a difference as well.
So how does Cambridge Credit Consultants, the leading Grand Rapids Credit Repair Company, know what is the perfect score? We have the only report, on record, to reflect zero reason codes. Every time your FICO score is calculated a set of codes is generated and delivered with the actual 3 digit number. These codes are the FICO Reason Codes (also known as Score Factors or Adverse Action codes). They are numeric codes along with plain English text.
These codes explain why a credit report didn’t receive the maximum score. You will normally see 4 of these reasons accompany a score, but there can be more or less in some instances

What is a perfect Credit Score, it appears 844 is that number and it is held by a man in IL. To the best of our knowledge this is the highest score on record and we confirmed that with John Ulzheimer, a nationally recognized expert in credit scoring.
For most of us, the goal of a perfect credit score may be an ongoing goal that we are always working towards. What does it take to get a perfect credit score? There are the obvious factors such as no late payments but what does it really take to get the “perfect score”. Here are some factors that other similar score profiles over 800 have shared:
-
Age of accounts, typically people have over 30 years of established credit
-
Mix of accounts such as revolving, installment and mortgage. These accounts can be paid off but have to be on the credit report
-
A revolving account WITH A BALANCE and the balance has to be under 15% of the credit limit
-
No more than one or two inquiries
-
Employment and address information going back 10 or more years with position
